Quipu String

What is Quipu?  It is an ancient Incan computing system that uses knots and strings to store and calculate data.

You'll need strings of different colors.

See Figure 1 for an illustration of the different knot types.

If you don't want do the knotting method you can also use beads, but you'll need at least 22 distinct types
